Q: Apple ID / new e-mail on iOS device not verified yet
I need help. I hope someone in the community can help me out. I have a 64 GB iPhone 5s, and a Mid 2010 15" MacBook Pro. I also have two Apple ID's, the first Apple ID I started to use when I got my first Mac back in 2000, the second Apple ID I have I got when I got my first iPhone in 2007. Back then it was called .Mac. Recently I had to update my first Apple ID because the e-mail associated with it I had no more access to it. So I thought I would update the primary email address for the first Apple ID with my .Mac / Mobile Me / iCloud e-mail address, which happens to be my second Apple ID. I seem to be having an issue with my Apple ID on my iPhone 5s. When I try to manage the iCould services on my iPhone all it ever tells me is "Account Not Verified" and everything is grayed out. I'm not sure what to do. I've bought a lot of music and apps with my first Apple ID, and Ive done that same with my second Apple ID. Please someone help me, I'm not really sure what to do. I just want to merge both accounts together so I only have one Apple ID on all of my Apple devices.
The Facts:
- First Apple ID: XXXX@bellsouth.net Primary e-mail associated with first Apple ID: XXXX@bellsouth.net (I no longer have access to this email address) Recently updated my first Apple ID primary e-mail address to XXXX@mac.com
- Second Apple ID: XXXX@iCloud.com Primary e-mail associated with second Apple ID: XXXX@mac.com
- MacBook Pro uses Second Apple ID: XXX@iCloud.com (Mid 2010 15" MacBook Pro | 2.4 GHz intel Core i5 Processor | 8 GB of Ram | OS X 10.8.5 )
- iPhone 5s uses first Apple ID: XXX@bellsouth.net
