hi guys, need to reset an A1881 from my wife. Any idea?
I need to sell the A1881 and i don't have the original cd.
how shall I proceed to boot the system?

Do you have a second Mac? If yes, you can use Target Disk Mode with appropriate Firewire/Thunderbolt adapters and cables - Share files between two computers with target disk mode - Apple Support - and erase the internal disk of the A1881. If the buyer has their own OS X disks, they can use it to install the OS of their choice.
