Q: Apple TV, missing "purchased" tracks

I have synced Apple TV with "purchased music" from my iTunes account and, weirdly there are random songs missing off quite a few albums, and a lot of missing albums. I have no idea how to rectify this...has any one else had this problem?

There is no syncing capability, it is simply accessing the cloud. Is the content in question still available in the iTunes Store?

Sorry, used the incorrect term for allowing the Apple to access to my iTunes/icloud content.

Yes the content is available in the store. One album was bought recently and it is on my phone/mac/etc in it's entirety, but two songs are not showing when I access my music via Apple TV. I just wondered if this was some sort of "glitch" - mirroring rather than using the "music" icon solves the problem, so it's not a big deal. I was just curious as to why some songs would be missing.

That's strange. Have you tried rebooting ATV and logging out/back into your account?

I thought it was strange, I can't understand it all. I do have annoying problem where I have to re-download albums from iCloud every time I back-up phone, but all my music is there.

I tried rebooting, logging out/in, everything bar hitting it with something heavy lol.  I even googled both issues and found nothing.

I think "mirroring" may be the solution and at least I can access all my music that way, IF it's actually on the phone after back-up!

All music is appearing on my system and there have been no other reports, other then users who have lost content that is no longer in the store. That's why unfortunately I am at a loss at the moment. If anything comes up I will let you know.

I'm stumped too, but thank you for your replies. If I happen to stumble across solution by accident I shall let you know.

    Thanks :-)

Ran into this after changing my AppleID p/w and finally figured it out after a couple of days. Log into your account under the iTunes store. Under hidden purchases click manage. It may take time but you need to unhide all of the purchases and then all the music will show up on the other devices.

For anyone else with this issue there are more details here: Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support.
