Feb 17, 2015 10:42 AM in response to superstar Robby BDAqua,Mostly guesswork here, since I do not know the inner workings of iMovie, but it appears it needs 675 MB of real RAM to do what it's trying, but you only have 350 MB free.
There must be a way to stop it, maybe try moving this file to the desktop for now when iMovie isn't running...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iMovie.plist
Other than that, more RAM might be the solution...
At the Apple Icon at top left>About this Mac, then click on More Info, then click on Hardware> and report this upto but not including the Serial#...

Feb 23, 2015 8:41 AM in response to BDAquaby superstar Rob,Thank you so much for your assistance. I was able to delete the file that was giving me the issue as well as a plethora of very old .Mov files that were taking up so much space. The program is once again working smoothly.
