This exact same thing happened to me 1-855-337-8035 was my number. put device on airplane mode, clear cookies and history and it will go away. Mine wouldn't close. my husband found this fix on another forum.

This same thing happened on my ipad while clicking on news feed on facebook. How do I clear cookies & history on ipad? Do I have to delete the facebook app?

Settings/Safari. You don't have to delete Facebook, but don't click on that link again, and warn the owner of the page that it's a toxic link.

But I can't close the link and can't access the facebook app without this warning page coming up. I was told to go into airplane mode and delete cookies and history. How do I delete cookies on my ipad. It is only facebook that is affected.

Again: Go to Settings/Safari. You have to scroll down a little to find Safari after tapping Settings on the Home screen. Scroll down again and tap Clear History and Website Data.

Ok I went into Safari, deleted cookies and history while in airplane mode but nothing happened. I still can't get rid of the crash report page or access facebook.

Kill Safari and Facebook by double-pressing the HOME button while on the Home screen. Then scroll to those apps and flick the screen image up to kill the app. This will probably resolve the issue, but if it doesn't there's further steps. And apparently the toxic link is in Facebook itself; you may have to delete it and reinstall it.

Hopefully someone will still see this. I just got this error. The menu will not allow me to delete history and website data. It is gray instead of black on the menu. Is there anything else I can do, or can someone point me to another thread? Thanks so much!

It is not malware on your phone. It is your browser being hijacked. You are probably best off not visiting sites where this happens; there's a good chance the sites have been hacked. To clear the problem (which may be only a temporary fix):

• Turn on Airplane mode
• Press HOME once; wait a couple of seconds, and double-press HOME
• Scroll to Safari and flick the screen image up to kill the Safari app
• Press HOME
• Go to Settings/Safari, scroll down, and tap Clear History and Website Data
• Press HOME
• Reboot the phone by holding HOME and SLEEP at the same time until an Apple logo appears
• Turn off Airplane mode

This should fix the immediate problem.

Seems to be happening again now in December 2015. I rebooted, which alone did not get rid of the message, but I went to Safari in settings and cleared Safari history and rebooted again. That worked to make the message disappear. I won't revisit the website that it seems it was linked to.
