OSX Tiger Disk 2 isn't being read by the drive

Hi there,

I'm trying to install a full 'erase and install' version of Tiger on my iMac.

After fully installing disk 1 with no problems, I was prompted to install disk 2. But having inserted disk 2, the Mac won't read it.

There's no smudges or scratches on the disk.

Every time I turn the Mac back on, it takes me back to the same install screen as before – where it prompts me to insert disk 2.

Does anyone know if it'd be worth me connecting an external disk drive and inserting disk 2, to see if that'll work?
