Q: how do i fix the mediatoolbox.dll error message?

I just bought a new dell inspiron 5000 series laptop and had iTunes installed. it won't let me open/use iTunes and gives a mediatoolbox.dll is missing from computer. How do I fix it/install the mediabox? Please help. Would like to log into my iTunes account. Thanks.

Howdy chris24fes,

If I understand correctly you are getting this error message everytime you try and launch iTunes making it unusable. I would recommend using the following article to helo troubleshoot the issue, named:

iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues
