iPad refuses to sync to iTunes... help!

Hi Guys and Gals,


My 3rd generation iPad has stopped syncing any time I plug it into my Acer PC.


More Specifically, when I do plug the iPad into the PC and try to sync, iTunes freezes and syncing becomes extremely slow. I have tried updating iTunes and have still been unsuccessful.


Can anyone shed some light on how to get round this issue?
