Kernel Panics in Yosemite

Only change was a RAM swap with my wife identical MacBook.

Had 2x2GB in mine and 2x4GB in hers, swapped one stick from each to both have 6GB total.

Wife has had no issues what so ever with hers.

Just put all the RAM back to original, see how it goes, though I did see an improvement in startup time and general quicker response even with the loss of 2 GB of RAM.

Will follow up if this solves my issues.

Had a Kernel panic again, this time while backing up to Time Machine.

Last ones were uploading to dropbox (3 panics) and while editing photos in Aperture (2 panics)

Could this be a Hard Drive issue? Have run all HD tests and nothing seems off with it.

No peripherals. All tests run were good (Rember, etre, Apple hardware check), disk permissions all good.

Also to note, after each Kernel Panic I get the flashing folder with question mark on it, I have ensured that the proper boot disk is selected, but still have the flashing folder with question mark come up after each Panic
