I rented a movie on itunes (I know I rented it because when I click on the movie again, it asks if I want to rent it again) but the movie is not in my rented folder or available for downloads. Any ideas?

I cannot find the movie I rented on itunes. I waited over an hour for it to show up, and it is not in my rented folder. It does not show up in my purchases, but when I try to rent the movie again, it says it has already been rented. Any ideas?

Hi wefinleys,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Let’s see if the rental shows up when you check for available downloads:

iTunes: How to resume interrupted iTunes Store downloads - Apple Support

  1. Open iTunes.
  2. Choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
  3. Type your account name and password if prompted.

If the issue persists after trying the above recommendation, you may want to report a problem with your purchase to our iTunes Store Support team:
