How to change Apple ID on iPhone 4s?

If the woman you sold your device to is telling you that she needs your Apple ID password, then you still have the phone Activation Locked. You need to follow one of the sets of instructions in this link:

You need to erase the device and set it up as new: Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Settings.

The applications on the device were purchased (or downloaded, if free) by the previous owner, so they will forever be tied to that Apple ID. You need to download or purchase apps with your own ID to tie them to it.

It will work for any device as far as the apps and content go. If you are having an issue with an Activation Lock, that is a different matter. Are you just attempting to remove the contents on the device?

I couldn't tell you. I do not use the app. However, it is irrelevant if you ever want to update it since it was not originally downloaded by you, and is therefore tied to the previous Apple ID. Your only option is to delete it and re-download it.

The iPhone is Activation Lock to prevent thief re-using the iPhone. Until you key in the previous owner Apple ID & password, formatting or restoring will not help. It cannot be bypassed.

Where are you being prompted to enter the previous owner's password? What screen?

Delete the Whatsapp app (tap and hold the icon until they all start wiggling, then tap on the "x" in the upper left-hand corner), and then re-download it.
