ICC profiles

Hi,

I've looked at a few threads about this, but can't seem to find an answer. I downloaded an ICC profile from a print lab website for a particular paper type. I'm assuming I can use this to soft proof in Aperture?

Anyway clicking on download in the download folfer shows the profile:

Should this appear in the list of installed profiles in colour sync profile? It doesn't seem to. How also do I get it to the list of proofing profiles in Aperture?

can anyone help?

Hi Jon,

The profile mfr. should have specified where to put the profile.

The Library folders are hidden in Yosemite.

Here is Google's results page with links which detail how to show them. (If you access the Library folders regularly, put shortcuts in your Finder sidebar.) Put the profile where the mfr. tells you to (afaik, always in either "~/Library/ColorSync/Profiles" or "/Library/ColorSync/Profiles/"). Reboot to ensure the change is known throughout the OS.
