I use a Mac book pro,
I would like to know how to play .FLV and .AVI files in quick time player,
Already i use VLC player, But i wanted to use Quick time player for this formats
Looking forward best support on this.

That functionality was removed in Mavericks. You need to use another player; doing this will likely require installing Perian as well.

Not through the bundled QuickTime Player. You need to use another player, such as version 7 of the QuickTime Player, as well as installing Perian.
