Network Users unable to use Google Drive application on client machines

We have a server setup and running with Network User accounts using network home folders located on the server.

Google Drive has been installed on all of the client machines via a local administrator account.

Network users are able to login and use services/applications such as DropBox and others, but not Google Drive. Google Drive will open or attempt to open, then give an error (FB53) stating that the Google account must be disconnected then reconnected.

Has anyone seen this issue or been able to get the Google Drive application to work with network users and network home folders?
