How do I assign a photo to my Air Drop icon?
So, I would like to assign a photo to my icon that comes up on other ipads for Air Drop and can't figure it out. Help, please?

Try Settings > General > Siri > My Info ... assuming your iPad is new enough to have Siri.

Thanks, Jim. I am still having a problem, though. I added myself as a contact and added a photo. I then went into Siri, My Info, and linked my contact info. However, when I go to Air Drop, it still only lists the name of the ipad and not my picture. Trying to figure out how to make the connection between My iPad name and photo. It's like there should be some type of "Add Photo" option under General Settings, About...
Additional help?
Yes I used this technique...the key is to set the photo in the contacts of the device you are airdropping FROM, not the device you are sending TO. Once I did this, it all worked. Very in-intuitive, but got it working.
You include the photo in your contact information in the Contacts App.
Yep. Tried that (see message above). I have an 4th generation iPad.
The photo needs to be in the contacts of the device which is seeing your iPad.
Will try that next. Thank you.
I put my contact info into the receiving iPad and that did not make a difference. For some reason, my ipad is not connecting with my photo Any additional suggestions?
Did anyone get it to work? I tried the contact info technique and that did not help.
