transfering a movie from PC to La Cie Fuel for viewing on IPad

I have purchased a LaCie Fuel (stores photos, music, other files and movies and creates its own wi-fi network) with the express purpose of downloading movies to watch on my IPad 2 while on vacation. I understand that I can download a rented or purchased movie to my PC and "move" it to IPad, but can I move it to LaCie fuel to view later on my IPad?
