you would think apps such as paypal ebay would have apps for older ipones like mine.
Is it to make you update your iphone when the 3gs is a GREAT PHONE..

Feb 17, 2015 8:26 AMby ChrisJ4203,It has nothing to do with you or your phone, or anyone forcing you to purchase a newer phone. The app developers determine what iOS their apps will support. Many of them, as they develop their apps to support the newer iOS discontinue the apps for the older iOS. Not a lot you can do about it, except for what I provided you. The decision to purchase a newer device, or to discontinue the use of an app is yours, but the app developers make it easy to decide about not using their app any longer.
