Hello, I have a 233MHz Bondi Blue iMac that I would like to be able to run OS X. I can verify that it has specs worthy of running 10.3 Panther, but to my understanding, a firmware update (1.2?) is in order. How would I go about installing the update on the computer (should I use a flash drive, burn cd?) and is there a link available to download this?

When I booted into open firmware, it says I'm running version 3.0. Is this the latest version, because when I follow the instructions to update the firmware, it says "your firmware is up to date"
