Q: Not able to launch Eclipse after upgrading to Yosemite
I have been using Eclipse (Juno) for some time now. Last week I finally upgraded to Yosemite. After the upgrade, when I attempted to launch Eclipse, I got a message saying that I had to have Java 6 installed - and gave a link to where I could install it through Apple, and I did. Then I tried to launch Eclipse, and I got an Incompatible JVM message that said "Version 1.6.0_65 of the JVM is not suitable for this product. Version: 1.7 or greater is required." So I downloaded the latest from Oracle version 8.32, that Oracle says has been fixed to work on Yosemite. Tried to launch again - same message! Anyone else have this issue? Help!?

Turns out I just needed to load the latest JDK (not JRE) - then eclipse was happy!
