Connection to iMac

I can't connect my mac book pro 10.9.4 with my older imac 10.5.8 (he is visinoable but the connection faild)....?

I checked already file sharing bouth sids. I can connect the same iMac with the Mac book pro.

Can somebody help me?

Read this Apple support article:

Your problem may be that the iMac that you have does not support that function.
