What makes you think the books are buggy? What exactly does not work properly for you?

Is it one particular book in a particular Aperture library that has a problem, or any book in any  library? Which theme are you using?

I don't make a lot of books but since buying the iMac 5K running OS 10.10.2 things are much more 'clunky' and unresponsive.

At the moment I've just made a Large hard-back book of 100 pages with 200 pictures using 'Journal' theme.

The few text boxes I wanted were very hit and miss to type and position.

For instance when flipping from  'edit content' to 'edit layout' the blinking cursor remained and no 'handles' appeared so

it was not possible to move the text box. Clicking away to something else then back sometimes fixed this.

Also to 'highlight' a photo box usually needs 2 attempts to make the bright frame appear (or handles to reposition) to say the box is the 'focus'.

Since my setup is high-end (see above) it's not a lack of performance but the Aperture 3.6 experience can sometimes be very buggy indeed.

Other apps work ok, I mainly use Logic Pro and Photoshop . . no problems there.

In the past I have made many successful Large or Extra Large books but now my experience is very poor.
