Output levels don't match

Hi All

hopefully I'm in the correct place.

I have a limiter on the master fader set to -.2.

The level on the master fader is peaking at +1.4

If I alter the limiter to -1.2, the master fader peaks at +.4

This has only just started happening. I've opened projects that were fine a couple of weeks ago and they have a similar situation.

I've tried different limiters, they all act the same, any ideas??

I have a Waveburner project that uses the same limiter and that appears to be ok, so I guess it's a Logic problem?

My Logic is very old (7.2.3)

thanks

Yes, it is before the limiter, and I didn't really register that the OP is still on LP 7. Unfortunately my 15 minutes of edit time had already passed... but yeah, that point is doubly moot.

I think it may indeed be an attack time peak, or an intersample peak, or a doubled routing via a send. A screenshot of the signal flow/mixer and Limiter would clarify things.
