Issue with iPhoto 11 Updater

When I tried to open iPhoto, I got a window that told me: "To open your library with this version of iPhoto, it first needs to be prepared.To prepare the library, use the iPhoto Library Upgrader available from Apple." I downloaded the Installer Package, and went through the Install process. This was, apparently, successful. Now, when I try to open iPhoto, I get the same message. I did a Restart to see if this would help, but no help. I appear to be locked out of iPhoto. When I hook up my camera to my iMac (Yosemite 10.10.2), I get that same window.
