When inserting a hyperlink containing 'umlaute' (e.g. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Xaver_Süßmayr) the hyperlink will always be replaced by the default hyperlink "www.apple.com/de/". Is there a workaround?

When trying to insert a hyperlink into a pages document (Version 5.5.2) which contains umlaute (e.g. to a webpage of the german wikipedia: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Xaver_Süßmayr) the hyperlink is not accepted by pages and replaced by the default hyperlink 'www.apple.com/de/'. Hyperlinks without 'umlaute' work fine. Is there any workaround for this?
