Mac Pro VDI Server???

Hi all,

I have a customer who has been in US recently. In an apple store or an Authorized Reseller he have seen a particular configuration with of Mac Pro:

A new Mac Pro with 6 Thunderbolt Screens connected, each screen equipped with keyboard and mouse, like VDI clients, running a different session!!!???

Open six different remote sessions: OK!

Six screens connect to the Mac Pro: it's clear, no problem!

But ... each one running one different Yosemite session: I'd like to see!

I never heard about.

I told my customer that this is highly improbable but ...

Somebody could tell me something about? Possible or not? Realized!!!??? Fake or true???

Thanks in advance.

Hi Grant,

Thanks for your answer. I read the articles but the solutions related are only under TCP/IP.

Maybe my description is not really right because of my english!

What I mean is that "normal" screens (only screens) are connected to the new MacPro (the one with 6 thunderbolt ports) through thunderbolt câbles (one each). Each screen is equipped with a keyboard and a mouse and can open a Mac OS X session (with specific credentials).

Of course it is limited by the number of thunderbolt ports!

Do you understand what I mean?

It's not technically impossible but ... if it had been made ... I guess Apple would noisily announced it in the last WWDC or keynote. Don't you think???
