Lets see if we can get your email back up and running again. Take a look the articles below for troubleshooting access to your email accounts using the Mail application on your Mac. They will have you look at Connection Doctor to see if it can send and receive email as well as checking the common email accounts status page to see if any access to email is having issues.

If this is for your iPad, then take a look at the article below for the troubleshooting option for iOS devices. Depending on the issue, you may need to remove the email account and then set it back up again.
