No Wifi issues until upgrade to Yosemite 10.10.2 - Now connection continually dropping

Everything fine and no wifi issues until upgrade to 10.10.2 - anyone else out there got the same problem. Also overall mac seems slow. I have a mid 2010 iMac, 3.2GHz i3 processor and 4GB 1333Mhz DDR3 memory

I have noticed the issue with wifi is more predominant on BT Infinity2, also have (provided by work) basic BT Business Broadband and that seems to be more stable on the mac.

Suddenly without warning I loose connection yet signal strength shows as perfect - run diagnostics which keep failing with message to move closer to router - not helpful. Eventually it reconnects but have to repeat the process to many times to count which is not good.

Any help or suggestion would be appreciated
