After creating a music playlist on youtube through my youtube account I aimed to play this through my apple device, however listening to the same songs in the same order is becoming increasingly annoying. I wanted to know if it was possible to be able to shuffle these songs?

I would like an answer for this, too. I have noticed that sometimes the Shuffle button appears and then disappears again. Some of my YouTube playlists on the Apple TV have them and some others don't.
I totally agree, playing videos in the same order on my Apple TV is getting old. I would love to be able to shuffle the videos.
I experience the exact same issue. Why do some custom playlists have a shuffle function and some don't? This problem comes and goes ....
