Q: how do I eliminate/delete apps and music permanently that is stored in the cloud
In the past my IMac computer and of course my iPhone have inherited music and apps that I no longer want. This came about because my children were attached to my AppleID and these Apps and Music selections belonged to them. Now I would like to eliminate these articles permanently from my devices(they show up in the cloud). It is basically an annoyance because they take up space. I would like to know how to permanently delete these items which are stored in the cloud. I would like to not see them on my devices

Hi drjcg,
To make sure we are on the same page we may need to clarify some things before we go further. If you see any purchase with a cloud icon next to it, then it is showing the purchased content in the cloud and not taking any space. You can delete any content that you want with in iTunes and then you can actually hide any purchases that you do not want to see. Take a look at the articles below for more information to get you squared away.
