Apple ID Blocked for security reasons

Since Monday, my phone has been asking me for my ID password - which I give every time. Now, all of a sudden, my ID has been blocked for security reasons.

I have been on the page numerous times to do the Apple ID thing, but: My ID email has expired when we moved countries (I tried to change it, but the change was not accepted). Now I have an expired ID, an unrecognized password (apparently faulty although it is the only password I have) and I forgot the security questions answers because it was set up back in 2011. Also: the mail with instructions cannot be send because than mail address no longer exists because it was terminated when I cancelled my contract with my SA_Service provider before we moved. My only working email right now, belongs to my husband.

The toll-free number in SA is enganged the whole time from Namibia, (I dial +278004444246) there is no e-mail correspondence available and I cannot even reset the phone without the password, because my " Find my iPhone" app is on. 😢

I am desperate for help, please!!!

😮😢😕

Dear TJBUSMCC1973

Thank you for trying.... 😟 It does not work. I take it that you live in the US? Because I cannot schedule a call or ask them to call me as I live in Namibia and when I enter a country code, it will not take the request. (Which is sad, considering how many people outside the US uses Apple products) The only timezones given, are for the United States.

If that doesn't work, or if there is no rescue email link available, then click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.

As you can see, there is no option available to request a security pin.

Thanks for trying ✖

I have no words anymore. My password does not work anywhere. Not on iTunes, not on my phone. I even had my mails (for work) come through my Microsoft Outlook and even that keeps asking me for a password. I am now beginning to think my phone was hacked. Problem is: this is my lifeline. My life is on this phone and half the apps won't work if I don't enter a password....

I feel like smashing my phone in a million pieces but that won't do any good.

😠

How to reset your Apple ID password.

Go to iforgot.apple.com and type in your Apple ID, then click 'Next'.

Verify your date of birth, then click 'Next'.

You'll be able to choose one of two methods to reset your password, either E-Mail Authentication or Answer Security Questions.

If neither method works, then go to https://getsupport.apple.com

(If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services')

Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.

A new page will open.

Choose 'Other Apple ID Topics', then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.

Click the blue 'Continue' button.

Select the contact option that suits your needs best.

How to reset your Apple ID security questions.

Go to appleid.apple.com, click on the blue button that says 'Manage Your Apple ID'.

Log in with your Apple ID and password. (If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, go to iforgot.apple.com first to reset your password with a password recovery email)

Go to the Password & Security section on the left side, and click on the link underneath the security questions that says 'Forgot your answers? Send reset security info email to [email]'. This will generate an automated e-mail that will allow you to reset your security questions.

If that doesn't work, or if there is no rescue email link available, then click on 'Temporary Support PIN' that is in the bottom left side, and generate a 4-digit PIN for the Apple Account Security Advisor you will be contacting later.

Next, go to https://getsupport.apple.com

(If you see a message that says 'There are no products registered to this Apple ID, simply click on 'See all products and services')

Choose 'More Products & Services', then 'Apple ID'.

A new page will open.

Choose 'Other Apple ID Topics', then 'Forgotten Apple ID Security Questions'.

Click the blue 'Continue' button.

Select the contact option that suits your needs best.
