Feb 19, 2015 7:52 AM in response to Evans1952by Brett L,Hi Evans1952,
When you start to use a different Apple ID you will need to sign in to different services with the new ID individually, as it is possible to use multiple Apple IDs at one time. See this article for how to change various services -
Sign in with a different Apple ID on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If you need to get into the old Apple ID but can not remember the password, use the steps in this article to reset the password -
If you forgot your Apple ID password - Apple Support
You may find it easier to change the information associated with your old Apple ID rather than creating a new one. See this article for how to do so -
Change your Apple ID - Apple Support
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Sincerely,
Brett L

Feb 19, 2015 8:00 AM in response to Evans1952by gail from maine,Photo Stream and Calendar will not sync to your new Apple/iCloud ID. They are tied to the old one. You cannot delete an Apple ID, all you can do is stop using it. However, the iCloud account associated with that ID and all of its contents will not be accessible using that new Apple/iCloud ID - two different accounts.
Also, any purchases you made with the old ID will remain tied to that old ID. They cannot be transferred to a different Apple account.
Your best bet is to go to Manage your Apple ID and change the email address for your existing Apple ID to whatever it is you want it to be (unless it is an Apple Domain email address - @me.com, @mac.com, etc.). However, if you have already used that email address for the new ID you set up, it won't be available to be used for your updated one: Apple - My Apple ID
If you want to use the email address you set up the new Apple ID with, you can contact Apple Support to see if they can delete that new account so you can use the email address you assigned to it:
ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT NUMBERS
If you are having issues signing off your old ID because you don't remember the password, you can reset that password by going to the first link listed above and clicking on Reset Password. If you don't remember the answers to your Security Questions, you can contact Apple Support at the second link posted above to have them reset.
Cheers,
GB
