Hello guys. I worked untill today with my Nikon D7100 recording at 720p .
Now, they demand 1080i50. (Sometimes it's called 25i) .
Everytime i import what i recorded with 1080i50 in Final Cut Pro, it moves a bit jerky and a bit blurred. U know why ? Please help me. thanks.

Open a clip in Quicktime X and post a screen shot of the Inspector properties.

Quicktime X is the standard player on every new Mac.

What are the specifics of your Mac hardware?
In FCPX, go to the Viewer, to the Viewer Settings menu (looks like a light switch) in the upper right. In that menu, in the Quality section, do you have Better Performance or Better Quality checked?
Here? i am really new with final cut, but i m a fast learner. By the way, i tried to export one of the movies( when i open it with quicktime before export, i see it perfectly, when i open it after the export, i see it like a poor quality) thanks ...
For some reason that I can't fathom, your menu is lacking a few parts.
It should look like the image below, yet the parts about "QUALITY" and "MEDIA" do not show up.
Try clearing the preferences. And, for good measure, try Window->Revert to Original Layout.

That information makes all the difference!
In 10.0.x the quality and proxy settings are in the application's preferences.
In your second image, you have
a popup menu that reads "Better performance" - change that to "High quality" (or "Better quality" or similar; I don't remember the exact wording).
i did but i still see it like that, i will buy the Final cut pro x....
IIt's hard to tell from the small image above, but the video looks like it's been recompressed from something else. Where did this come from?
it was imported from my laptop, and from the folder i imported i see the video with quicktime player very good...
Can anyone tell me why i see the video like this in final cut??
