Q: Is it okay to get e-mail from apple engineer team?
Recently I posted a thread about my wifi problem, and now I get an e-mail from wireless apple.com
I just dont believe apple contacting people to slove their problems.
the email :
I work in Apple Engineering and came across your complaint in Apple discussion forums. We would like to work with you to help resolve this issue. Can you please get us the following information?
1. Description of the problem
2. How frequently does the issue occur? Is there any particular thing that seems to trigger the issue? For example playing youtube video
3. Can you get us your router make, model and Firmware Version? Also please list out any other devices in your setup. For example wireless cameras, etc.
4. Did you see the issue in 10.10.0 or 10.10.1 or Mavericks
5. To get logs please follow these instructions. Option click WiFi icon on top right corner and open “wireless diagnostics”. Once launched, hit continue and it will collect some info and then give you two options. Select “continue to monitor my wireless connection" and leave that window open. If a problem is detected wireless diagnostics will prompt you to save the report on desktop. Please attach the report to this email. Please also note down the time stamp when the issue was observed.
