logitech k750 keyboard stopped working after 2015-001 security update

I updated my iMac and MBP running Mavericks 10.9.5 yesterday with the 2015-001 security patch and I can no longer usemy Logitech USB Keyboard or USB Wireless mouse. Nothing I type is entered, or moving the mouse does not move the cursor. I've tested the mouse and keyboard on a PC and they work fine. Both devices were working fine prior to the update.

I also have a Bluetooth mouse that is working fine. I found an Apple USB Keyboard and that works correctly.

Any suggestions?
