Syncing Music to iPhone 6- Actually an iTunes Issue?
I've experienced issues with syncing my music (I'm syncing around 80 gigabytes of a 100+ gig library) on my iPhone 6 (Gold 128 gig) since I got it in September. I've been stuck in Waiting For Changes to Be Applied, Finishing Sync, had my music corrupt itself and appear as Other on my phone (unplayable or seeable in Music), had the artwork delete and then music delete itself, you name it, I've experienced it. I've tried doing it manually, nothing seems to permanently fix the issue.
Finally, after so many issues, I got Apple to replace my phone (which I bought through Verizon day it was released and Apple claimed it contained 3rd party display components, another story for another day), and after almost syncing all of my music too it, have begun having the same issues. This leads me to believe that there is an issue with either iTunes or my MacBook Pro (mid-2012, 700 gig), so I'd like to explore if this is an iTunes issue.
At some point, one of the Geniuses said something about deleting some iTunes file and recreating it, which I was skeptical about but at this point I need to try anything. Can anyone shed some light on this?
