My keyboard on my Pro stopped working mid sentence. I noticed an odd icon in the notification bar. When I clicked on it, it says SuperDrive F12. But the icon looks like the key next to the F12. Not sure if these are related or not. Help?

My keyboard on my Pro stopped working mid sentence. I noticed an odd icon in the notification bar. When I clicked on it, it says SuperDrive F12. But the icon looks like the key next to the F12. Not sure if these are related or not. Help?

My keyboard quit working while I was typing today. Not sure if I hit some key that has turned it off or if it just quit. In looking over the screen, there is an icon in the notification bar that I don't recognize. When I click on it it say's SuperDrive F12 but the symbol looks like the key next to F12, ( ⧋ ) so I am totally baffled. Not sure is these two are related or not. Please help, I'm using a little bluetooth keyboard to type this, not fun.

Hey ckopp,

If the keyboard is not responding properly, take a look at the article below to give multiple options to isolate and resolve it. It will have you check with the keyboard viewer to ensure check if the keys are in fact not responding. If you can, try starting up in Safe Mode to see if you still have issues with the keyboard.
