Q: How do I remove flashmall from a MAC OS X LION 10.7.5

I keep receiving pop up adds from flash mall, and I am also having an issue with other tabs opening on their own. I have an iMac with a OS X LION 10.7.5 operating system. Any help would be appreciated.
