Q: Can't delete old email address in apple ID

Just updated iPad mini to iOS 8.1.3 and it still shows my old email address in the iCloud portion of Settings. All "contact information" is correct with primary email, verified secondary email, address, etc. The only thing that I can't change is the email below my name and photo. Its grayed out. I Logged into my Apple id account and iTunes weeks ago and updated everything so shouldn't it have updated it when I upgraded the iOS? Or do I have to do it manually? And if so, how?

    Yes you can you will go to Settings-> iTunes & App Store-> Tap on your old Email Address (should be blue)-> select View Apple ID-> Tap on Apple ID-> change it to your new E-mail address and then confirm. To update it on iCloud you will half to log out and log in with your new E-Mail Address after you have change.
