Q: Unable to Add mp4 TV Shows or Movies iTunes 12.1.1.4
Hello, recently update to iTunes version 12.1.1.4 running on a Windows 7 64-bit machine (64-bit version of software) and for some reason I am no longer able to add video (mp4) files to the library. I attempted repairing Quicktime without luck, I then uninstalled and reinstalled just to be safe and still no luck. I also turned off the library organization settings and turned them back on and let my library rebuild itself so to speak but still nothing. When I attempt to add the files, it briefly shows the processing ticker for each file, but it is only displayed for a fraction of a second before it goes away. After quickly processing the files it goes away and nothing gets loaded in. I have also tried manually moving the files into the correct directory before adding them and still no success. As far as I know this was working just fine prior to the upgrade so I am not sure if this is just some bug or something else is wrong. Any ideas?

You may need to install the version of iTunes here: iTunes 12.1.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards).
And then repair/reinstall QuickTime 7.7.6 for Windows.
Next time Apple Software Update tells you there is a new version revisit the first link. It should be updated with a new "for older video cards" version that will work with QuickTime.
