Why does iTunes tell me I don't have authority to sync my 4s?

I recently replaced my hard drive in my computer, but I cannot sync my iPhone 4s, due to a lack of authority to do so? I've authorized the computer, so I don't know what's wrong.

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1.3

I would remove iTunes by following the instructions in this support document.


Then I would reinstall the latest version of iTunes, but when you get the selection to run or save the installer, I would save it. Then after it finishes downloading, I would right-click on it and select Run as an Administrator. See if that corrects your issues.
