I recently replaced my hard drive in my computer, but I cannot sync my iPhone 4s, due to a lack of authority to do so? I've authorized the computer, so I don't know what's wrong.

What does it say?
It gives a message stating that: "The iPhone cannot be synced. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation."
When you replaced the hard drive on the computer, you installed a new operating system, correct? More than likely, that has changed some of the permissions for folder access. That could very well be what the problem is. That is a disk access error, not an iTunes error.
I am not tech savvy. How would I go about fixing this issue?
Are you on a Windows computer? Are you logged in with an Administrative account? Are you using a backup of your old hard drive, or did you install everything new?
I am on a Windows computer. I don't know if I have an Administrative account. I had to install iTunes new.
IF you go into Control Panel and User Accounts, are you an Administrator?

I would remove iTunes by following the instructions in this support document.
Then I would reinstall the latest version of iTunes, but when you get the selection to run or save the installer, I would save it. Then after it finishes downloading, I would right-click on it and select Run as an Administrator. See if that corrects your issues.

When I right-click the download, I am given no option to run as administrator.
