If you have a sim card and a number in your iPhone, but you choose to iMessage using your email, can the messages sent be retrieved via your cell carrier's website or do they count purely as data?
I know if you send the iMessages through your phone number they get categorized as text messages on the carrier's website, therefore allowing you to view previous messages on the website as if they were texts. They are considered both data (if there's no wifi) and text message. But I'm not sure if it works the same way if you use your email. Does anyone know?
