I am not referring to running Disk Utilities to "repair permissions". Is there a commercial/freeware programme that can fix home folder permissions in Yosemite or do i use TERMINAL with some secret command ? Please explain how do i fix home folder permissions in Yosemite ?
Thank you very much for your interest in replying and providing the url's. Will give a try and post a reply unless i wipe out my hard drive ( not a big fan of using Terminal because the name Terminal in itself gives me the chills ).
Yes, do be careful in Terminal, be aware that even with spaces being so important in commands, they are hard to see.
