Q: why bootcamp select task install windows checkbox is not active ?

I want to install win8.1 on my mac book pro but in the select task window install win 7 or later version is not active and only download driver is active which i have done before , what should i do ?

OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

See the following..
For 8 and 8.1 you need BC 5 and a 2009 or later Mac Pro

i have MacBook Pro ( 15-inch, Mid 2010 ) so it should be supported but the problem is that before starting to install windows the check box is not even active

What version of BC assistant do you have? Latest is 5.1
Is this first time you have tried installing BC/Windows on this Mac?
How far id you gt with the instructions?

sorry for posting it here , how can transfer it some where there ?
i am using the 5.1 version .
as u see at the beginning the install check box is not active to go further .
