Hi, I have a OS 10.9.5 installed and when I type hebrew in a message in mail or when I type in a form field in Safari (or Facebook etc) I the apps slows down, lags and I get the spinning beach ball
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)
Try switching to a different font.
Does not work... Any other tricks? Is it bug in Mavericks?

I don't remember seeing anyone else report the problem.
Try setting up a new user account and see if you still have the problem when logged into that.
I've set up a new user, same problem I get the same problem
still no go... anything else I can try?
Sorry, no ideas other than to reinstall the OS.
