@me.com mail is rejecting googlemail messages

I've suddenly started having this, too.

It can't possibly be my fault, so it's probably not yours. :-)

It's an internal mail delivery system thing, and most likely Apple's problem, though Google might be contributing, dunno.

Happening here too. A Gmail user sent a message to my @me address on Friday and it was rejected. Then, yesterday I sent a message to someone with a @mac address (from my Gmail address) and that was rejected. Please fix Apple! [I'm not on Yosemite yet, so this is not an OS-based issue.)

Apple have no access to Google's servers, how can they fix Google's servers?

It is Apple's servers that are rejected gmail messages. :-)

"Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain me.com by mx1.mail.icloud.com."

There are multiple reports of problems with Gmail on this site, all less than 48 hours old.

By all means wait for Apple to fix this, but it is very unlikely that they will be able to.
