Since the exact shape of the PowerBook 15-inch model has not been produced

in later versions of Apple portable computers, nor are the ports located similarly,

you would likely have to look online or in places where old-stock may exist. As

those would be not a standard item nowadays, anything you find may be higher

priced and of limited availability. Or a seller's market.

Presuming for a moment you are referring to a protective outer case that stays

on the computer in-use, and not one designed to carry the item. There are a

few padded cases with velcro and zippered closures that stay on a computer

once the case has been opened; these are like neoprene. A computer could

get over-heated in those, even when suggested the unit may work that way.

With no current production of protective cases for ancient PowerBook G4 15-inch

computers, and the port placement difference between various build models, to

locate a case that is not for a current specification (in production) portable Apple

would be most difficult to almost impossible. There is no retail stockpile.

Hopefully you can find the one that got away, which would have been

made/available in the days your PB G4 15-inch portable was still new.

    Good luck & happy computing!

If a shell or skin of this type was ever produced, I am sure it could be found today. If not new at least used.

A company last year (early 2014) was contacted about a protective case

the PowerBook 15-inch model, they had one then. I looked at their site

but did not contact their customer service to ask. Their main site page

shows items for the Newest models. Maybe if you asked, they may be

able to find some old-stock? This company is in Florida...

This was found in a different forum discussion where someone had bought

an as-new flawless PowerBook G4 15-inch aluminum model and sought to

protect its appearance from incidental wear, to keep the metal pristine.

Brands like Speck and others randomly have appeared, used; from the era.

    For my old (as-new) Mid-2005 iBook G4 12-inch 1.33GHz computer, I bought

a (then new) NeoCase that stays on the computer in use, neoprene, zips.

This is one that if you use it awhile the unit can get hot. Yet is great for storage.

Overkill when also stored in a slingpack with its accessories. Overly protected.

    My other portable is a first-edition MacBook1.1. + A non-working PB 12" 1.5GHz

is sitting in a sack, needs some repairs and has issues; was given to me. Plus

    three iMac G4 1.25 17-inch desktops, a recent i7 Mini QC server, & last G4 Mini.

Hopefully you can happen across or learn of some PowerBook size hardshell.

    Good luck!
