Network users can login via console but not GUI
I have a brand new MacBook running OS X 10.9.5 and network users cannot login via the login window. I get an error that says "You are unable to login to the account "username" at this time. Logging in to the account failed because an error occurred."
If I open the console from the login window (>console), network users can login fine but an error pops up that says "No home directory: /Network/Servers/server.example.com/Users/username"
In the system logs, I see errors that say: authorizationhost[1258]: ERROR | -[HomeDirMounter mountNetworkHomeWithURL:attributes:dirPath:username:] | PremountHomeDirectoryWithAuthentication( url=afp://server.example.com/Users, homedir=/Network/Servers/server.example.com/Users/username, name=username ) returned 45
If I login to the machine with a local admin account I can connect to the user account server and mount the users folder just fine. No other machines seem to have a issue.
What does "returned 45" mean and where else can I look?
Thanks!
