It's Not Located On The Back Of My Phone. & When I Press This "i" on the Home Screen A Different Number Pops Up But Not The IMEI . I Need help to find my IMEI number . I don't have a sim slot so it's not there . It's not on the back of the phone & I'm stuck on activation screen . When I press the "I" a number pops up but not the IMEI . I called 1800-MyIphone so they could bypass it but they needed my imei number .. Where can I find it ??
Apple Tech support will not bypass the activation lock unless you can provide proof that you're the original owner.
The number that's popping up when you tap on the "i" is the ESN (electronic serial number). It serves a similar function to the IMEI on an older CDMA phone. Give that number to Apple.
The IMEI will not help if the phone is activation locked. The ONLY solution is to have whoever enabled Find my iPhone release Activation Lock.
