ITunes is dead. It now only runs about 10 seconds and gives me APPCRASH fault module name JavaScriptCore.dll. I have uninstalled itunes, deleted all itunes folders, and i still have this error. Really could use some help.
Doing some additional tracking, i tried the route of deleting all of the apple programs, ITunes, QuickTime, update. No dice lasts 5 seconds now though. And they want to charge me to debug their program.
Also tried opening ITunes in safe mode. No help.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert an older version or want to try the "(64-bit - for older video cards)" release as a workaround for performance issues.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

So rolling back to V11 seems to make it stable. So i'm now stuck with a down rev version for ever. i can never upgrade. Gee this is really neat. Would be nice if Apple would acknowledge that THEY have the problem. Doing a rollback to a previous version is not good customer support.
Well I would have tried 12.0 or the "for older video cards" version first, rather than going back to 11.x. For many people it seems 12.1.1. is fixing issues they had with 12.1.

Nope 12.1 is a non-starter. So i'm stuck at V11. Get the constant you are out of date and need to update requests. Would be nice to have a real fix.

I've installed, or supervised installation of, 12.1.1 (both 32- and 64-bit versions) on seven different systems over the last few days ... no problems with any of them. 12.1.0 was a "problematic" release because of the playback issues many people found with the 64-bit version, but (so far) there's every sign that these are resolved in 12.1.1.
So i've done the following,
Reinstall 12.1.1 after deleting everything. Still dead.
Go back to 11, that works.
Install 12.1.1 as an update. Still dead.
so it looks pretty likely that i will never update again.
I would try these, starting with the most recent, and reverting to an older version if needed:
All three are 64-bit installers for the 32-bit core code, as were all previous 64-bit versions of iTunes.
Assuming it still fails what is the exact error message you now get when you try?

Complete teardown between each. Including deleting any leftover folders.
I'm can't create new user account but i'll try the user cleanup in the article you list. Let you know later
Did the teardown and then moved the itunes folders in both local and roaming. When i started itunes it was clean install as it didn't show me or a library or anything. Died in 30 seconds. Same old error. So i'm pretty sure it isn't in my library of stuff, it's the code itself.
