Mac mini 2012 windows 8 no hdmi audio

Hi guys

I've tryed everything discussed here, and on the intel support community.

I have the latest intel hd graphics 4000 driver, installed with the intel driver update utility.

My mac mini is plugged to my tv by the hdmi cable (alredy tryed another cable to be sure).

Video goes through hdmi as well as it's supposed to. But the tv doesn't appear in the playback devices list. I have only the cirrus logic speaker/headphones and spdif listed.

My tv has always worked with any other laptop. I've already installed all the bootcamp drivers...

I don't know what else i can do

Pls help me...i'm struggling in this problem from 2 weeks

Have you checked System Preferences -> Sound -> Output ? You may also want to check on the TV. What is the TV brand/model? Also, If you connect the Mini and use HDMI, the TV volume controls the volume, not the Mini volume control. If the OS X side works, so should the W8 side. Checking W8 setup now.

in windows 8.1 it's in control panel->hardware & sound->manage audio devices

This is on a Mac mini 2012 with AMD GPU and the same physical connection as shown on the OSX side.

Hi and thanks to all

I have the i5 model with the intel hd graphics 4000.

And in this windows that you posted i've only speakers, headphones and spdif listed.

I've already tryed to show disabled and unplugged device but nothing appears.

Any other suggestion?

Ps. I forgot to mention that i ve even tried plugging the Mac mini to another Samsung TV (that works with other laptops) and still the same.

Everything works fine but the HDMI audio...

if you installed any other driver then the video card driver in the bootcamp zip then install that rather then the video card driver you currently use

Please repair your Bootcamp drivers - Boot Camp: Install or repair Boot Camp drivers. You may also want to reset SMC before you repair BC drivers using - Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC) - Apple Support.

already tried to use the bootcamp video driver ..nope thanks anyway

but i will definetely try to reset the SMC.

I will let you know If this will solve my problem

I have noticed that if i try to uninstall and reinstall the intel driver the digital output appear and disappear in a second onto the playback devices list

i wonder if there is a sort of conflict going on...
